In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 medical apps on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom exhibited varying performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into these trends.

NHS App saw a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 44.7K in late September and decreasing to approximately 22.7K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar downward trend, with numbers dropping from over 1M at the beginning of the quarter to roughly 577K by the end.

Patient Access maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, averaging between 7.8K and 11.1K downloads per week. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating around the 49K mark with minor variations.

myGP® experienced a significant spike in downloads during the first week of December, reaching 25.5K. However, this was an outlier in an otherwise declining trend, with weekly downloads falling from 17.3K in late September to around 4.3K by the end of December. Active users peaked at 40.6K in early December but dropped to 14.9K by the end of the quarter.
